What an incredible time we had at the Elmia Husvagn & Husbil event in Jönköping, Sweden! For those of you who aren’t familiar, this annual fair is definitely the go-to place for anyone passionate about motorhomes, caravans, and the exciting world of road travel. Thousands of visitors, from seasoned travellers to curious first-timers, came from all over Europe—Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, and beyond—to see the latest models, check out cool travel gear, and share their love for the open road.
A Haven for Motorhome and Caravan Lovers
Elmia isn’t just any event; it’s a dream come true for anyone who loves motorhomes and caravans. Picture row after row of shiny new vehicles, each one equipped with the latest in comfort, technology, and style. From compact vans perfect for a weekend getaway to luxurious motorhomes that feel like a home on wheels—there was something for every kind of traveller. Whether you're just getting into van life or you're a seasoned road tripper, the variety was amazing to see! We spent at least a whole day in total walking around and exploring every vehicle, studying the progress in design and technology, and we must say, it is flabbergasting!
A Fun and Exciting Atmosphere
This year, the event broke records with over 34,000 visitors filling the halls over the five-day event. The atmosphere was full of excitement—there was laughter, the sounds of children exploring new campers, and groups of friends and families planning their next big adventure. We even saw people comparing notes on which motorhome would make the perfect choice for their travels! It’s safe to say, the energy was contagious.
Voyager’s First Time at Elmia – What a Voyage!
For Voyager, it was our first time taking part in Elmia, and we had an absolute blast! Our stand was set up with comfy chairs, brochures, and of course, our trusty iPhones to show off what Voyager can do. We loved meeting so many of you, answering questions about the app, and hearing your travel stories. We’ve also gathered some super useful feedback that will help us improve the Voyager experience even more (stay tuned for some awesome updates!).
Meeting Fellow Travellers and Industry Friends
One of the coolest parts of the event was seeing the sheer enthusiasm for travel! So many visitors stopped by to learn more about Voyager and how it’s going to make planning trips and booking campsites easier than ever. We also got the chance to chat with some of the leading names in the motorhome and caravan industry—companies like Adria AB and Malibu KG. And it wasn’t just all business—we had lots of fun conversations with influencers and fellow adventurers who are just as passionate about the road as we are.
